Image of a skull formed out of naked women with a fully clothed man standing in the foreground.

So far every woman in Being Human is a victim. Except one, but she's being set up to be the victim as she dates the werewolf.

A friend watched a TV show in which the mother asked her daughter, in regards to sex, "Are you being a good girl?"

A dear friend was blamed for a sexual assault that happened to her. She asks me to tell her that it's not true because even though we know it, sometimes it's hard for us to believe for ourselves.

Vampire Girl bites Vampire Boy's arm. She's kneeling on the floor and he's sitting on the bed. Blood trickles down her chin as she looks up at him and says in a sexy voice "You taste good."

Police investigate sexual abuse claims from New England prep school alumni.

Being Human: Another update. Werewolf meets a werewolf mentor. A dude. Vampire Girl comes back to ask for Vampire Boy's help. Ghost girl watches her once fiancee get cozy with another girl, somewhat portraying the crazy ex-girlfriend.

Labyrinth woman's tank top with the talking door knockers where nipples would be on the front. Between it says "It's rude to stare."

A friend asks me if I ever feel fake. I answer honestly, saying when a guy stalked me and harassed me I felt like a fake because I didn't see the abuse coming when I should've known the warning signs. I'm a feminist and survivor. I should've known better.

Being Human: Vampire and Werewolf (Both white dudes) bring in another ghost to help Poor Ghost Girl. An 80's rocker white dude. To help the helpless ghost girl.

An article telling people to stop second guessing Hillary because of her marriage.

Another friend has lost some weight due to illness. Her mother tells her that she should watch what she eats so she doesn't get fat again.

A friend tells me she's been throwing up for several weeks due to anxiety. People keep congratulating her on her weight loss. Her doctor sent her a pregnancy test and told her it must feel good to have that weight off.

Being Human (US version): Three main characters. Vampire (Male), Werewolf (male), Ghosty Ghost (female). Other females: dead girl (vampire now), living girl (soon to be dead), sister (of werewolf). Other males: Police vampire (powerful character), homeowner (fiancee of Ghosty Ghost, has power over Werewolf and Vampire who live in his house). The Vampire and Werewolf have jobs. They leave the house. They have outside relationships. The Ghost doesn't leave the house. She cries. She is sad. She is frustrated. She is exposition. She functions solely in relation to the vampire and werewolf. The music is good.

Wendy Williams on breastfeeding: I don't need to see that!

A mom mentions how isolating pumping is.

Bill Cosby: The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said the two cases being investigated, one from 1965 and one from 2008, lacked sufficient evidence and were barred by the statue of limitations.

Article on how time is a feminist issue: Work, creativity, leisure, be successful in all aspects all the time.

A friend tells me she was at a restaurant getting take out. A man comes in and tries to figure out what phone number his wife put their order under. He and the waiter (whom kept calling my friend sweetheart) discover it was under the wife's cell phone. His response: "Fucking women. None of them have any common sense." Then he turns to her and goes, "No offence, sweetheart."

Empowering portraits of domestic abuse survivors.

An article on how the villains in The Force Awakens are SJWs, thus making them the bad guys.

A female friend talks of a shopping experience over the holidays where she went to a high end jewellery store for herself to purchase a watch. The male clerk immediately goes, "Are you here to buy something nice for your husband?"

An image of a drawn man pulling a naked woman towards him as he holds a blade. Men hold her up to him and smoke conveniently covers her nipples. Another mostly naked woman also holds up the offered woman.

A woman talks about her appointment with a personal trainer:
"So I had my first session with a PT today and the first thing she said to me was "Obviously you want to get back to your pre-baby weight." It wasn't a question, it was a statement. And it pissed me off. I corrected her nicely by simply saying "My goal is to regain my core strength and endurance. I'm not worried how my body looks, only how it functions. It can be pretty badass." But it got me thinking. Post pregnant women are told they look good if they return to their pre-baby body quickly leading to the assumption that they look bad if they keep the extra weight. Skinny people are envied for their lack of fat or shamed for apparently starving themselves. Voluptuous women are either labelled fat and shamed or they're labelled brave for being comfortable in their own skin. There is always pressure."

An article on the 6 ways the healthcare system is sexist, including women being overmedicated, women being told pain is all in their head, how most medical studies focus exclusively on men, and how we suck at diagnosing autism in girls.

A cosmetic company launches a campaign to try to stop vapid red carpet questions asked of female celebrities.

An ex texts me to say happy new year. The next thing he says are inappropriate comments about pictures we once made.

LA Police spend 5 years and $400,000 trying to discredit a woman raped by an on duty cop. "All police misconduct allegations place an extraordinary legal burden on the part of the victim, but sexual misconduct is different. Unlike shooting a civilian, having sex with one while on duty cannot under any imaginable circumstances be seen as within the scope of the job."

Trauma sensitive yoga for rape survivors.

Blogs comment on Bristol's child Sailor and when his conception and birth were.

"Everyone complains about the weather but no one's willing to sacrifice a virgin to fix it."

A friend writes the following about The Angouleme Grand Prix:
"Wow.... so this.
1) Festival claims that they love women but women aren't part of the history of comics.
2) Organizers claim they cannot find even 10 essential comic creators that are women to nominate for their lifetime achievement award.
3) When given one name of a woman who is considered an essential comic creator, she is disqualified for 'no longer making comics' even though last year's winner was a retired artist who no longer makes comics.
On top of that, the comments are that 'now women will just get nominated based on the fact that they are women and not necessarily good' have been popping up. It has gotten to the point where women in the industry would rather not be nominated because of this condescending attitude."

Two men in a car at a stop light roll down the windows and one yells "Hey, beautiful!" at me as I leave work. I don't have great vision and think one of them is a client of mine.

A woman in the office is assigned a random hotel room with a man she's never met before by a company she works for. She's trying to decide if she feels safe with this.

Watching Being Human. So far, every female is a victim. Murder, being the biggest crime. Except Cara, who's set up to be the next victim of the vamp dude.

"I've met girls who have been beaten so badly they've ingested their own teeth," said Toronto Detective David Correa.

The day Matthew Deiaco first pimped out a woman is the day he grew up and turned into a man.

Toronto Star article on the Canadian Sex Slave industry:
"On the streets, it's known as the 'The Game.'
Some of the girls are beaten by pimps--whipped with coat hangers heated up on a stove, punched, choked, burnt and forced to sleep naked at the foot of the bed, like dogs.
Some are branded--often with their pimp's street name. Earlier this year, a 21-year-old woman was held down in Toronto as a pimp carved his initials into her hand with a razor and then poured pen ink into the wound.
They are bought and sold--in 2013, police rescued a 17-year-old girl who was traded to a pimp by her own mother for a drug debt.
They are locked in hotel rooms and forced to have sex for money, sometimes up to 15 times a day, and then hand over all their cash to a pimp they are brainwashed into believing is their boyfriend.
